[Stable Update] 2017-02-28 – Kernels, Thunderbird, Octopi, Deepin

system_software_updateHi community,

the issue with Catalyst seems to be fixed now:

(==) Parse error on line 5 of section OutputClass in file
/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/fglrx-outputclass.conf”ModulePath” is not a
valid keyword in this section.Fatal server error:(EE) no screens

So what are todays updates then? There was a request to support Surface Pro3 OOTB. We updated some of our kernels and included needed fixes for the CVE-2017-6074 – DCCP double-free vulnerability, updated Deepin packages, Nvidia drivers and v0.6.5.9 of spl/zfs. The KDE theme Breath got a new wallpaper and some fixes in themes. We also updated gstreamer, python packages, modified mesa a little and pushed out some more deepin packages. Thunderbird is using GTK2 again.

A detailed list of package changes can be found here.

Please test and give us feedback as usual

kind regards
Philip Müller and the Manjaro Development Team
